For my money, you can’t top the skeleton-suited Phoebe Bridgers’ home-karaoke glitter-ball version of Kyoto on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert — though Billy Strings’ country-bluegrass performance of Taking Water (shot at Nashville’s Station Inn) for the Joel McHale-hosted episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! is a damn close second. As for Jimmy Buffett and his bandmates lip-synching and fake-playing their way through his single Down at the Lah De Dah for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, well, really, what more did you expect from Jimmy Buffett?
