I was lucky enough to visit Electric Lady Studios in New York City once to preview a Pink Floyd box set. That was pretty cool. Another time, I saw Jack White perform at his Third Man Records compound in Nashville. Also pretty cool. The only thing that might be cooler? Watching Jack White and The Raconteurs perform in the legendary Greenwich Village recording studio, as they did recently. You can do that this Friday, when The Raconteurs’ new EP and documentary film Live At Electric Lady both arrive. For now, check out the trailer above. Of course, that wasn’t the only new album announced today. Scroll down to see all the latest additions to the calendar — including offerings from k-os, Ellie Goulding, Japandroids and more — and pay a visit to the Upcoming Releases page to see the whole list, which grows more unwieldy by the day. Oh, and check out that Freak Heat Waves video at the bottom of the page. If you dare.
