But Pearl Jam have made this one a little easier to get through by announcing that their 11th studio album Gigaton will arrive on March 27. “Making this record was a long journey,” explains guitarist Mike McCready. “It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption. Collaborating with my bandmates on Gigaton ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times.” Copy that. Not excited about connecting with the latest yarlings of Eddie Vedder and co.? Fair enough.
