The combined forces of spring break and March Madness continue to keep things quiet on the late-night music front. But there were still some treats to be found in the nooks and crannies of the tube and the Interwebs on Wednesday. Like, for instance, throwback soul outfit Durand Jones & The Indications serving up Long Way Home and Don’t You Know from their recent American Love Call album on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Or D.C. elctro trio Shaed, who also did double duty on Last Call With Carson Daly, delivering the seductive slow-burners Melt and Trampoline in their TV debut. Finally, for the pop lovers in the crowd, The Late Late Show With James Corden got meta by showing L.A. actor-boy trio Wallows (and their minions) playing Are You Bored Yet on a TV within your TV. That may not be madness — but it’s as close as these guys are ever going to get.
