Either way, it should be interesting to hear an album his own record label once reportedly tried to talk him out of releasing.

Lux Prima
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman and the prolific producer (real name: Brian Burton) — whose resume includes membership in Broken Bells and Gnarls Barkley, in addition to working with Black Keys, Gorillaz, Red Hot Chili Peppers and others — would seem to be a fine match. We’ll find out.

Cash Cabin Sessions, Vol. 3
The iconoclastic smart-aleck and prolific Nashville singer-songwriter’s latest studio album was apparently inspired by a dream about The Man in Black. Yes, it was recorded at Johnny’s old studio. But no, it’s not the third part of a trilogy. Did I mention that he’s a bit of a smart-alec?
