If music be the food of love, play on. Shakespeare wrote that in Twelfth Night. Not surprisingly, it pretty much sums up the late-night TV scene on the 14th night of the month — a.k.a. Valentine’s Day. As you might expect, love was in (and on) the air throughout most of the evening’s musical segments. Danish popsters Lukas Graham crooned their romantic number Love Someone on The Late Late Show With James Corden. British metalcore outfit Bring Me the Horizon showed off their softer side with Mother Tongue and Medicine, two moodier cuts from their recent love-themed album amo. And country-pop douche-bros Florida Georgia Line visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform Talk You Out of It — and lest you think it’s about abstinence, ‘It’ refers to their girlfriend’s dress. Ick. Need a palate-cleanser after that? Head over to Last Call With Carson Daly and crank up The Record Company’s performance of the blistering blues-rocker Off the Ground. What is not to love about that?
