Kristin Nicholls Band keep the party going with their new single and video One More Round — showcasing today on Tinnitist.
With a drink in one hand and a lifetime of stories at the ready, the Hamilton country-rockers are ready to raise the roof (and your spirits) with their latest anthem — a full-throttle, feel-good call to the dance floor, complete with line-dance energy, soul-saving choruses, and one foot firmly in the honky-tonk.
But for frontman Nicholls, this track is the result of a comeback story that’s more Nashville than Hollywood. “I got sober… and released a fun drinking song,” Nicholls laughs. “There’s some irony there. But this song is about joy. About celebration. About giving yourself permission to just live again.”
His journey through addiction, divorce and redemption plays like a country ballad in its own right. Nicholls turned his life around — embracing sobriety, reconnecting faith, and dropping 70 pounds with the help of exercise and therapy. Now, he brings that energy to One More Round — a track that’s equal parts party and purpose.
Along with Nicholls on vocals and guitar, the band includes Luke Cronsberry on lead guitar, Ryan Barwin on pedal steel guitar, banjo, and dobro, Allen Bilston on drums and Scott Marsh on bass guitar. Together, they bring years of stage experience and a love for country storytelling rooted in gospel, rock ’n’ roll, and the real-life grit that defines their sound.
Produced by Jordan Honsinger, One More Round blends modern country production with the rootsy storytelling fans love. The writing team — Nicholls, Cronsberry, and Honsinger — leaned into vivid scenes, catchy hooks and a playful barroom spirit.
