Artic Baba explore an emotional wilderness in their new single and lyric video No Man’s Land — showcasing today on Tinnitist.
The Italian indie-rock band return with a new single that tells the story of a soul stuck in an emotional and existential limbo — neither there nor here, but in a desolate space where communication, clarity and connection seem out of reach. The track is a reflection of the turmoil that many of us experience when faced with overwhelming circumstances, both on an individual level and as a part of a larger social context.
Recorded at Quarto Suono Studios and mixed and mastered by Angelo Sasso, the track is a raw and energetic expression of the band’s signature style, which is full of emotion and driven by powerful instrumentation. With crunchy guitar riffs, salient vocals, gripping bass tones, and foot-tapping drum patterns, No Man’s Land captures the spirit of modern indie rock while also staying true to the band’s roots.
Artic Baba’s journey began in their early teenage years when they first started playing together. Life and different career paths pulled them apart but years later, they reunited with a shared purpose and passion for music. In 2020, they officially launched their new project under the name Artic Baba and in early 2022, they dropped their debut single Mr. Crazy. Later that year, they followed up with their second single Onde Radio, which saw them push the boundaries of their sound while retaining their trademark passion.
The band’s evolution continued too with the arrival of vocalist Valentina “Valy” Cosentino, whose dynamic vocals soon became a defining presence in the band. The lineup also includes guitarists Luca “Jolu” Iosca and Sasso, Alessandro Nordio on bass and Romualdo Del Buono on drums.
