The telemusical pickin’s are always on the slimmest of sides after a long weekend. And next week is no exception. Oh sure, there are a few hi-de-highlights — the ladies (and gents) of Lucius, the blistering blues of Buddy Guy, the post-punk of Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment and the jazzy pop of Laufey will all be on my watch list — but even so, unless you’re a big fan of Joe Jonas and girly pop (if that isn’t redundant), this might be a good week to start planting the garden. Pro tip: Plant chives and garlic around your tomatoes to keep the bugs away. But first, hand me the remote!
