Albums Of The Week: The Sherlocks | Everything Must Make Sense

THE EDITED PRESS RELEASE: “On the followup to last year’s People Like Me And You, The Sherlocks return with a brand-new album that represents a bold evolution in their sound.

“This album feels different to any other album we’ve done before,” says singer-guitarist Kiaran Crook. “I know it’s cliché, but it’s true. The songs are so varied. I feel like we’re at a point where we’re so comfortable in our own identity that we can allow ourselves to try ideas and not be afraid of the outcome as it’s inevitably gonna end up sounding like us. I feel like it’s an album the fans will really get behind when they finally hear and certainly one that’s going to surprise a lot of people. Get ready.”

Drummer Brandon Crook adds: “From a personal point of view on the drums it was definitely the most demanding album I’ve ever recorded. I was pushed to new heights, but I’m so glad as the record sounds incredible! The fans are going to be blown away. A lot of bands have to say their new album is the best, but this really is our best album to date. We are getting stronger and stronger every album. It’s an exciting time for the band! Can’t wait to get on the road and play these songs live.”

Over recent years, The Sherlocks have become one of the most exciting live bands in the U.K. Selling out tours across U.K. and Europe, the band — Yorkshire brothers Kiaran and Brandon Crook joined up with Alex Proctor and Trent Jackson — have also achieved chart success with three Top 20 albums. Their incredibly passionate, loyal fan base has followed their journey from pubs to clubs to selling out venues out all across the world and touring arenas and stadiums with the likes of Liam Gallagher, Kings Of Leon, Kaiser Chief, The Libertines and many more.”
