This came out in 2005 — or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
The annual Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee is one of the premiere live-music events in North America. So naturally, the annual CDs and DVDs from the festival are also stellar.
But this fourth chapter may be the cream of the crop, thanks to an eclectic lineup that includes everyone from icons like Bob Dylan (who tears through a searing Down Along the Cove) to jammers like the reunited Grateful Dead to blues-punks like The Black Keys, jazzbos like The Bad Plus and even something called The Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra. It’s the next best thing to being there.
