Classic Album Review: Cat Stevens | Majikat: Earth Tour 1976

This came out in 2005 — or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):

This breezy, entertaining live set from folk-pop chart-topper Cat Stevens’ final American arena tour before converting to Islam was issued last year on a smartly restored DVD. I can’t see why a fan would want this audio-only version, unless they really need to hear these songs in the car.

FIRST RELEASED: Actually, this one is brand spankin’ new — though the recording is three decades old.

HIGHLIGHTS: All the Catman’s hits, including Moonshadow, Wild World, Another Saturday Night and the sweetly subversive classic Peace Train.

EXTRAS! EXTRAS! A version of How Can I Tell You that’s exclusive to the CD.
