Classic Album Review: Pilot Scott Tracy | Any City

This came out in 2005 — or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):

Once upon a time, Scott Causey Stanton and Tracy Cox led The Causey Way, a punky new wave band who pretended (at least, I hope they were pretending) to be a cult and performed their quirky, choppy tunes while clad in white outfits.

Now that Polyphonic Spree have pretty much cornered the market on that shtik, Scott and Tracy pilot Pilot Scott Tracy, a punky new wave band who pretend (at least, I hope they’re pretending) to be airline employees and perform their quirky, choppy tunes while clad in pilot and stewardess uniforms. And they do a pretty fine job of it. Here’s hoping it pans out — if only because nobody wants to see them rocking out in fast-food uniforms a couple of years from now.
