The Texican roots-rock trio Los Lonely Boys tide over fans, show off their skills and capitalize on their Grammy win with this likable live disc taped in San Francisco.
Aided by a keyboard player, the groovy Garza brothers stretch out with an easygoing 75-minute set of tunes from last year’s self-titled breakthrough album — including their hit Heaven, natch — along with one new cut and covers of War’s Cisco Kid and Ritchie Valens’ La Bamba. Sure, we’d all prefer a new studio set, but this will do for now.
