This came out in 2005 — or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):
Danko Jones may be a rawk star, but he’s still a fanboy at heart.
And on this spoken-word disc, he spends about 70 minutes geeking out, jabbering about how rock ’n’ roll is awesome, Solomon Burke is God and Madonna 45s sound like doom metal if you play them on 33. Which would be OK if you were having a beer with him at a party, but kinda sucks when he’s charging you for it. Next time, less talk and more rawk, OK dude?
