I See Music | Let Me Do My Thing (ft. Emcee Agora)

HOME BASE: France.
GENRE: Rap.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE:I See Music started six years ago in Paris, with a workshop of eight musicians from different backgrounds. One played an idea that I recorded in my software. An audio loop was formed, and a second musician added to it, and so on. My job is to organize their contributions into a coherent sound universe that no one, especially me, had foreseen.”

Sara Sue Vallee | Meadow Lane

HOME BASE: Canada.
GENRE: Pop-Rock.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE: “Montreal singer-songwriter Sara Sue Vallee presents her debut EP Skin & Bones. Composed of segments from her diaries, it carries the listener into a dreamy atmosphere of pop-rock hooks. Each of Sara Sue’s lyrically driven songs represents glimpses of significant life moments so far; exploring growth, change, circadian insecurities and destructive romantic relationships. Having garnered years of voice memos and lyrics in notebooks, the pandemic’s steady reclusion allowed the versatile artist to delve into her collected ideas and fulfil a lifelong desire. To Sara Sue, this EP is a breath of long-winded aspiration after years of artistic devotion for cinema while it serves as a road map towards the pursuit of true and pure desires, regardless of one’s current position. Meadow Lane is the second track on the EP. It is about regaining self-confidence after realizing that your partner has fallen in love with someone else.”

Vidpoet & Steve Sperry | Lacrosse Hosse

HOME BASE: United States.
GENRE: Rap.
THE EDITED BIO & PRESS RELEASE: “Wielding a style of his own, Vidpoet has hooked up with producer Steve Sperry out of N.J., and the collaboration has been fruitful to say the least. Sperry is a top-notch DIY specimen when it comes to making boom trap, and it is his straightforward complexity that has allowed Vidpoet to spring to life with plenty of oxymorons of his own, as well as enough verbal contortions to have you second- guessing your yoga teacher. Vidpoet’s unorthodox aesthetic will have Sperry’s beats chasing his vocal, and not the other way around. You won’t catch Vidpoet flippantly tossing out a misogynistic quip or turning a phrase with unearned violence. You will, however, be made aware of an indie artist doing an indie thing, and not conceding to whatever trend.”
