Classic DVD Review: Chicago | RAW: Real Artists Working

Watching these old guys rehearse is kinda neat, even if it is sorta duh, you know?

This came out in 2002 – or at least that’s when I got it. Here’s what I said about it back then (with some minor editing):

This one time? At band camp? We had to watch this video? It showed, like, this band called Chicago?

They were rehearsing and stuff for a tour or something? And they filmed it with, like a big crew and hosts and stuff? I think the point was to show music students that you can be a professional musician if you work really hard and are dedicated and practise and learn to read music and stuff like that? Which was, like, sorta neat, even if it is sorta duh, you know? But it would be way better if they got a band that wasn’t, like, ancient! I mean, like, my mom doesn’t even like Chicago, and she’s, like, old! Next time? They should find out if U2 rehearse? Cos Bono is, like, cool?
