Don’t Make Drea Dominique Block You

The bicoastal R&B singer shuts down a player in her latest single and video.

Come correct or Drea Dominique will not hesitate to Block you, the U.S. R&B singer makes clear in her new single and video — showcasing today on Tinnitist.

Recorded with acclaimed producer Travis Kr8ts (K.Michelle, Dem Franchize Boyz) — who also produced Drea’s last single I Know You Want It (ft. Safaree) — the track complements Dominique’s raspy vocals with a pretty guitar melody and soft background vocals that blend well together to create a timeless classic. The video brings an early 2000’s R&B video feel to it, with its bright colours and captivating storyline.

Drea says she made the track “for ladies to know that it’s OK to maintain your peace and block these f**k boys. Anybody can get blocked, so come correct or get removed permanently.”

Born in Long Island, but raised and currently residing in San Diego, the multi-talented singer, songwriter, model and former reality TV star has the flavour of both coasts. With her smooth R&B voice and fresh twist on the hip-hop sound, Drea has what it takes to and make an impact.

Prior to releasing her solo projects, Drea appeared in music videos for a number of high-profile artists, including Snoop Dogg, The Dream, Baby Bash and Robin Thicke. Many fans will also remember Drea for her role on Bad Girls Club Season 9. She released her debut project Toy Box, featuring the single Catch My Wave (ft. AD and Flex), in early 2021.
