Myranda Christi Can’t Keep It Together When You Come Around

The Alberta country-singer songwriter rides a romantic roller-coaster in her single.

Myranda Christi rides a roller-coaster of love in her new single When You Come Around — showcasing today on Tinnitist.

Channeling the thrill ride of infatuation, the Alberta artist and former Canadian Idol competitor combines an expressive, joy-filled vocal with a rockin’ country track co-written with seasoned songwriters J.C. Veaudry, Jacqueline Burke and Corey Lee Barker.

Christi has been honing her impressive vocal prowess since she began her musical journey in 2005, participating in provincial performing arts competitions. She sang her way to the TV judges round on the 2007 edition of Canadian Idol. In 2017, Christi recorded a three-song covers EP that helped land her a current distribution deal. But recording her own songs as a solo artist is where her heart lies.

“It was amazing, and I never wanted to leave,” recalls Christi. “The recording experience was one that I will never be able to replicate again and one I will always look back on in the most amazing way possible.”
