Laszlo Jones Doesn’t Want To Get You Out Of His Head

The Lebanese rocker walks the line between love & death on his latest single.

Laszlo Jones loves you to death (and beyond) in his provocative new single and video Out Of My Head — showcasing today on Tinnitist.

Openly exploring the turbulent nature of losing love, the latest single off Jones’ hallucinatory new EP Beyond The Door demonstrates the unshackled approach to music that flourishes within the well-travelled artist. The complexities of mutually destructive relationships are viscerally communicated in both the dark-rock sonics and the obsessive lyrics — and aptly illustrated in a video where interpretive dance and striking visuals take centre stage.

The Beirut native’s meticulous attention to detail shapes the new EP, which was prepared in collaboration with his friend, multi-instrumentalist and producer Michael Buyens (The Gathering, Life Of Agony). Jones also assembled an all-star cast of accomplished musicians — including drummer Ralph Sammins (ABBA, Quincy Jones) and pianist Michael Arrom (Steve Vai) — to record the EP’s five tracks in Paris. Argentine arranger Marcos Barilari guided the eclectic EP to life, while Canadian producer Kane Churko (Ozzy Osbourne) mixed it at Las Vegas studio The Hideout.
