Late-Night TV Music (Full Slate Edition) | May 6, 2021

Amythyst Kiah, Foo Fighters, Sech, Nathy Peluo and more ways to fill your time.

Well, this doesn’t happen often. For the first time in a long time, today’s Late-Night TV Music instalment features a full slate of performances from all five of the major nighttime talk shows.

And here’s something else that doesn’t happen often: Even though that lineup includes an appearance by Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl and co. didn’t snag the top spot on today’s list. That belongs to singer-songwriter Amethyst Kiah, whose performance of Black Myself on Jimmy Kimmel Live delivers way more power and passion than the Foos’ rendition of Chasing Birds on Late Night With Seth Meyers. As for the rest of the roster, it most went south — literally — with Argentine rapper Nathy Peluso delivering the hip-swivelling Delito on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert‘s YouTube page, and Sech hitting the beach for Sal y Perrea on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Finally, Alec Benjamin brought it back home (or at least back to America) with his song The Way You Felt on The Late Late Show With James Corden. Enjoy.
