Submission Accomplished: Second Player Score | Four-D: The Winter Suite

Take a listen to the latest musical gem that tumbled out of my digital mailbag.

Thanks to the inexplicable popularity of my Submit Music page, I always have a digital backlog of albums, EPs, singles and videos awaiting my perusal. Here’s another recent winner, along with the Bandcamp link so you can buy the music straight from the source. Tell ’em I sent ya. And if you’ve got something I need to hear, send it my way. If I think you’re half as good as you think you are, I just might include you next time.

Second Player Score
Four-D: The Winter Suite

HOME BASE: Washington.
GENRE: Punk.
THE EDITED PRESS RELEASE:Second Player Score are a #nerdpunk band out of Vancouver, WA producing new pop punk with a ’90s/’00s vibe. Being decribed as having a sound that is truly unique, yet oddly familiar, Second Player Score fans know their music as being incredibly catchy and having more hooks than a fisherman’s tackle box. Second Player Score’s EP, Four-D: The Winter Suite is the first instalment of four EPs that will eventually comprise their fourth full length LP Four-D. Each EP contains four tracks, each track comprised of four chords, and I’m sure you’re now noticing a pattern. Like their previous albums, this is a concept album telling a story, and having multiple layers of creativity including references to previous albums, Easter eggs from other Second Player Score projects, companion pieces, and nerdy nuances to keep the listeners discovering new aspects to the music long after the first listen.”

MY TWO CENTS: Ska-punk that pops.
