Does the world really need a sequel to Metallica’s 1999 orchestral-rock behemoth S&M? In a word: No. But it’s getting one anyway: As you might have already heard, S&M2 arrives Aug. 28 in a variety of configurations, from a deluxe box set that includes LPs, CDs, a Blu-Ray disc, sheet music and guitar picks all the way down to a bare-bones digital download of the tunes. For those who have been holding their breath to hear Moth Into Flame, Halo on Fire, The Day That Never Comes and other fare from the past 20 years delivered with strings and horns, you’re in luck.
