Late-Night TV Music (Win-Win Edition) | April 29, 2020

You couldn't lose on Wednesday, thanks to Radiohead's Thom York & Haim.

You win some, you lose some. On Wednesday, Radiohead fans were the clear winners in the late-night TV music sweepstakes — they got to see increasingly grizzled frontman Thom Yorke debut a typically idiosyncratic piano ballad titled Plasticine Figures on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Then again, Haim fans didn’t make out so badly either — they got to watch the sister act remotely join forces to play their new number I Know Alone (complete with disco-inferno climax) on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. So who were the losers, you ask? Let me get back to you on that.
