Dixie Chicks’ Gaslighter Tops Today’s Album Announcements

The country trio's Gaslighter will be their first album in 14 years.

Another day, another 30-some new additions to the Upcoming Releases page. The biggest of those would have to be Dixie Chicks, who just announced they’ll be releasing their first album in 14 years on May 1. The title: Gaslighter. Gee, wonder who that could be about? Guess they’re still not ready to make nice. Unlike most of the other acts adding their name to the list today — including Dierks Bently and his country-parody outfit Hot Country Knights, typographically challenged popsters Pvris and maybe Megan Thee Stallion (depending on whether she and her record label stop feuding or not).
