Love Pink Floyd but hate Roger Waters? You’re in luck: The band’s latest gargantuan box set will be right up your alley. The Later Years, which arrives Nov. 29, is a 16-disc collection of audio and video from Floyd’s post-Waters era, focusing on the work of guitarist David Gilmour, drummer Nick Mason and keyboardist Richard Wright from 1987 onward. It includes three studio albums — 1987’s A Momentary Lapse of Reason (updated with new drums from Mason and restored keyboards from Wright), 1994’s The Division Bell and 2014’s The Endless River — plus the live albums Delicate Sound of Thunder and Pulse. The set will also feature the band’s 1990 Knebworth concert, a 1989 Venice show, assorted other live material, music videos, animated fare, documentaries, seven previously unreleased studio tracks from ’94, a pair of vinyl singles and Blu-Ray / DVD-audio versions of pretty much everything — 13 hours of previously unreleased fare in all. And of course, it all comes in a giant box with a book and replicas of tour programs, passes, stickers, posters and whatnot. The price? A whopping $350.
