To quote the immortal David Lee Roth: ‘We have always hated each other.’ No, wait. That’s the wrong line. What I meant to say was: ‘Heard you missed me … I’m back!’ After a week of driving back and forth across the country to visit the extended family, I have returned to the comfort of my own couch — where I have begun wading through the hundreds of emails and tracks and videos and EPs and albums and whatnot that arrived in my absence.
