Late-Night TV Music (International Edition) | Feb. 27, 2019

Wednesday talk-show songs came from here, there and everywhere.

Music can take you on a journey. And an eclectic international slate of late-night talk show performances did just that on Wednesday. From the United States, you had bluesman Gary Clark Jr. busting out his falsetto during What About Us on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. From Mexico, you had earnest rockers Maná presenting Labios Compartidos and a medley of Rayando El Sol, Mariposa Traicionera and Oye Mi Amor on Jimmy Kimmel Live. From Norway, you had popster Astrid S making her TV debut with the single Someone New on Late Night with Seth Meyers. From England, you had endearing troubadour Cavetown charming the kids with bittersweet songs like Lemon Boy and Juliet on Last Call With Carson Daly. And finally, from the future, here’s Sharon Van Etten’s performance of the dark synth-rocker Seventeen on Thursday’s episode of Ellen. Now that’s a trip.
