Late-Night TV Music (Halloween Edition) | Oct. 31, 2018

Savour some sweet televised treats from KISS, Big Boi, Sheck Wes and others.

The bad news: Another Halloween has come and gone. The good news: There were plenty of musical treats and almost no tricks on the late-night talk shows. For those who wanted to rock and roll over, KISS made their second appearance in as many nights, switching coasts to play Shout It Out Loud on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Beautiful drums! Meanwhile, over on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Big Boi was joined by Sleepy Brown for his single Order of Operations (Spoiler Alert: The correct order is ‘grind,’ then ‘stack’ — remember not to stack before you grind, kids!). The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon welcomed a costumed Sheck Wes, who did his best to look spooky and ominous while performing Mo Bamba on a faux basketball court set (presumably because he’s a baller, yo). Late Night with Seth Meyers showcased Australian singer Cloves, whose single One Big Nothing kinda lived up to its billing, unfortunately. And of course, Last Call With Carson Daly doubled down with Chicago electro-pop duo Drama, who performed Billy and Ready For Love at L.A.’s El Rey.
