Noname, Colin Macleod & J. Balvin mix it up for the chat shows.

It never hurts to switch things up a little. Even when it comes to the late-night musical performances. And to that end, Wednesday’s lineup presented a nicely mixed bag of artists and styles. First and foremost, rapid-fire rising-star rapper Noname — whose Room 25 album will likely (and rightly) go down as one of the best albums of the year — showcased her disc by sprinting through an upbeat three-song medley during her solo TV debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Over on the other side of the dial and the musical spectrum, The Late Late Show with James Corden hosted Scottish singer-songwriter Colin Macleod, who led his band though a folk-rocking rendition of his single Kicks In. And finally, for the reggaeton lovers, Jimmy Kimmel Live welcomed Colombian star J. Balvin, who performed No Es Justo with the help of Zion & Lennox. Oh, es justo. Es muy justo.
