Watch all this year’s Polaris Prize performances

It’s been a long time since I paid attention to the Polaris Prize. If you do, you may already know singer Jeremy Dutcher won this year’s award on Monday night for his musicological post-classical release Wolastoqiyik Lintuwakonawa. He performed at the live gala, along with fellow nominees Jean-Michel Blais, Hubert Lenoir, Pierre Kwenders, Partner, Snotty Nose Rez Kids, U.S. Girls and Weaves (two others — Daniel Caesar and Alvvays — weren’t there, though the latter enlisted Girls Rock Camp participants to perform in their stead). If you happened to be watching the Emmys instead of the Polaris livestream, allow me to catch you up: Here are all the performances, starting with man-of-the-hour Dutcher (above). For my money, the Rez Kids are the best of the bunch, but your mileage may vary:
