Once is not enough. Or at least it wasn’t on Wednesday night, when the talk shows doubled down with multiple performances. Jimmy Kimmel Live brought out the big guns with Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators (including my old pal and fellow Winnipegger Brent Fitz on drums), who cranked out two cuts from their upcoming album Living the Dream. First up was the rocker Mind Your Manners (above), followed by the midtempo Driving Rain. Meanwhile, over on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Aerosmith proved rock is child’s play by reworking Walk This Way on classroom instruments — their second appearance on the show in less than a month. Later, singer-actress Teyana Taylor delivered a dramatic medley of Gonna Love Me / Rose in Harlem from her recent album K.T.S.E. (Keep That Same Energy). Finally, for those who missed it earlier in the day, Last Call With Carson Daly featured a twofer by Denver indie band Wildermiss. Enjoy them all on the double below.
