Future & Why Don't We make for a ho-hum night, but American Aquarium save the day.

It was a quiet night on the talk shows on Tuesday. Not sure if that was due to 9/11 or just a coincidence, but there were only a few performances, most of which were pretty ho-hum. On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Future offered up a pretty restrained version of 31 Days that may or may not have been lip-synched. Check it out above and judge for yourself. Meanwhile, over at The Late Late Show with James Corden, boy band Why Don’t We took to a revolving stage to perform their song 8 Letters for the mandatory crowd of screaming girls. I presume that title is a reference to the words ‘I love you,’ but really, I could think of four letters that would be more appropriate. Thankfully, alt-country outfit American Aquarium rode to the rescue with a solid two-song Troubadour appearance on Last Call With Carson Daly. Technically it was on Monday’s episode, but since Last Call doesn’t air until after midnight, I’m calling it Tuesday. You’re welcome.
