Late-Night TV Music | Sept. 7, 2018

Nick Jonas, Jay Rock and Dreamers take you into the weekend.

What do you get when you cross a former boy-band heartthrob, an L.A. rapper and some New York indie-rockers? Friday night’s TV-music lineup. Nick Jonas was the biggest name of the night, showing up on The Tonight Show to bust out his dance-pop ditty Right Now with the help of German house DJ Robin Schulz — and clown around with host Jimmy Fallon on a musical Lip Sync Conversation sketch. Meanwhile, Jimmy Kimmel Live! hosted New York trio Dreamers, who gently unveiled a two-song showcase of ethereal space-rock. And speaking of rock, Watts’ own Jay Rock emerged victorious from his performance of the horn-driven Win — the second single from his third album Redemption — on Late Night With Stephen Colbert. Enjoy your weekend. See you on Monday.
